Yes. Every page appears with a watermark, with your title on the cover, and you can switch styles or redraw pages for free. You pay only for the book (or a page) you choose.

A cover with your title and your first drawing, a dedication page if you write one, and every page you made, up to 20, as one print-ready PDF on letter-size pages. Print it at home or at any print shop, as often as you like.

8.5 × 11 inch pages in a softcover, stapled at the spine (saddle-stitched). The first page has your title and dedication. Each drawing is printed on one side only with a blank back, so markers don't spoil the next drawing; put a sheet behind the page if you use markers. It's printed in the US by our print partner, Lulu.

Shipping & handling for a printed book is $7.99 (standard) or $16.99 (faster), whatever the number of copies. You choose at checkout, where sales tax is added where applicable. Standard delivery takes about 2 to 3 weeks, because we check every book before it prints; faster shipping saves a few days. We ship to US addresses only.

For Christmas, please order printed books by November 30. We can't promise a delivery date, so leave yourself time. If you need it sooner, the PDF downloads right away.

A printed book is a real object that gets passed around, so before we print we ask you to confirm that everyone pictured (or their parent or guardian) is happy for their photos to be printed.

Yes. Each page is drawn by an AI model running on our own computers, from your photo. Faces and details are simplified into outlines, so a drawing won't always look exactly like the person. You see every page before you pay and can redraw any page up to four times.

Clear, well-lit photos with one to three people or pets and a simple background. In a wide shot where the faces are small, Colorkin can draw a close-up of the people so their faces are bigger on the page; choose Whole photo to keep the whole scene. Faces it can't find (people seen from behind, for example) can end up outside a close-up. Dark or blurry photos come out messy, so try another if a page doesn't look right.

We draw your first photo two ways and you keep the one you like: a close-up of the people and the whole photo if it's a wide shot, or simple and detailed lines otherwise. Your next photos are drawn the same way. Both are free previews with a watermark.

No. Once you order a printed book, its pages are locked so we print exactly what you saw. You can start a new book any time.

They're used only to draw your pages, on our own computers, and are never used to train AI models. Photos are deleted within 24 hours and your pages and files within 7 days, so download what you buy. For a printed book, the print files made from your pages and your shipping address go to our print partner, Lulu, to print and deliver it; we keep the print files for up to about 45 days after your order. Please only upload photos you have the right to use.

Email help@colorkinbooks.com within 60 days of buying and we'll refund you in full; there's no need to send a printed book back. If a printed book arrives damaged or misprinted, send us a photo and we'll reprint it or refund you.

Yes. They were made by Colorkin from free stock photos, not from customers' photos, and are shown unedited. The picture of the finished book at the top is an illustration, not a photo of a printed book.
